Wootness!
Drawl Origins is c0mplete, and I’m getting it into the schedule.
DEAD finishes on April 11th, a Saturday. April 13, a Monday, will be the release of the first page of Drawl Origins. It will continue on a Mon-Wed-Fri basis.
For those too lazy to do the math, that means the last page will be out on the 7th of September, which is still a bit away from what I assume to be the Halo 3: Recon (I still call it “Recon”, fewer syllables to say, and saying ODST as a word just sounds weird)
That means I’m going to work on one more comic before I start on the Big Project. By that, I mean the “Real JKBverse story”
From what I have seen and heard about the mythic maps, I will need practically all of them for what I plan. That’s just awesome.
Oh yeah, I’m also thinking of making some comic in Halo 3: Recon, campaign. If I had a second Xbox, two copies of the game, and four controllers… Or, you know, a friend with an xbox, I’d probably make a Halo 3: Recon comic for the lulz.
… I don’t quite get what’s going to be happening with the game though, so I can only keep my fingers crossed.
Also, Sandbox rules. ‘Nuff said.

Sounds awesome! And I think you have way more time on your hands than I do.

I just had DEAD complete before Halo 3 Webcomics came to being, so I had time to get with the next comic.
Also, Reclaimer has a far more complex plot and will no-doubt be far longer than DEAD. Check that, Reclaimer already is longer than DEAD. It’s only got 121 pages.
You’ve been developing the plot for over a year now, while I just take a few hours to suddenly get an idea, then take a week to get a general synopsis ready.

Ahhh, HolyJunkie. You are a comic monster. I was talking with Catfish the other day, and we’re both just really impressed with the amount of dedication you have. And I see that there’s someone else with a diabolical plan for the Mythic Maps…
